Goodbye Texas, Hello Alaska!

This cake was made to say goodbye to our dear friends the McP's when they left Texas to be stationed in Ft. Richardson, Alaska with the Army. The cake was a round cake stacked with a dome cut at a slant with a rectangle on top for the glacier and small cake pieces for the mountains, all iced with buttercream. The sand is made of graham cracker crumbs and the trees of Airhead candies. The Alaska part was inpsired by the state seal of Alaska and the Texas portion of course by the state flag.

Plolka Dot Present

To celebrate Adminstrative Assistant's Day I made this gift cake to say thank you for the gift our office staff is to us. It was iced with a faux fondant with dots made of Airhead candies and Skittles, then topped with ribbon and a card.

Christmas Tree

This cake can be decorated with endless options to celebrate Christmas. It is especially wonderful when the cake is chocolate with mint icing and your favorite candy as ornaments.

Chocolate Ganache Cake

This delicacy is chocolate cake with butter icing drizzled with chocolate ganache.

Square Daisy Monogram Cake

This cake complimented the 3 tiered daisy cake with the couples monogram in the center. The filling on top was lemon topped with white monogram icing letters.

Cupcake Frames

For one of my sisters birthdays in High School I made cupcakes to take for her to share at lunch. To make it fun I created picture frames with the cupcakes to frame some great shots of us together.

Volleyball Cake

Keegan's passionate about many things, one of which is volleyball - so the first year we were married I made him this 3D volleyball cake with white icing and black ribbon, made complete with crumbled sugar cookies to look like sand.
